My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance(Atau biasa disingkat MCR)adalah Band Rock Yg terbentuk di tahun 2001 di New Jersey,Amerika Serikat.Band Ini dibentuk oleh Gerard way dan Matt Pelissier seminggu setelah runtuhnya World Trade Center.Setelah dibentuk Gerard way merekrut Ray Toro,Mikey Way,dan Frank Lero.Pada tahun 2001-2002.My Chemical Romance mengeluarkan album pertama mereka,I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love 3 bulan setelah band itu dibentuk.
Pada tahun 2003,setelah mengikuti tur bersama Avenged Sevenfold,Band ini mengerjakan album ke 2 mereka,pada tahun 2004, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge  pada saat ini juga,Drummer matt plessier diganti Oleh Bob Bryar setelah konser di jepang.

Pada tahun 2006,My Chemical Romance merilis album ke 3 mereka: The Black Parade

Mungkin saja kebanyakan orang di indonesia Mengenal MCR lewat album The Black Parade.The Black Parade adalah album tersukses mereka.                                            
 Cover has a small, marching parade figure along with the lettering. 
     Vokalis MCR,Gerard way membantah keras kalau bandnya beraliran EMO,Gerard way menjawab:
"Basically, it’s never been accurate to describe us. Emo bands were being booked while we were touring with Christian metal bands because no one would book us on tours. I think emo is F****ng garbage, it’s b*****it. I think there’s bands that unfortunately we get lumped in with that are considered emo and by default that starts to make us emo."

Di tahun 2009,Bob Bryar Meninggalkan MCR,Frank Lero menulis di situs resmi MCR,dia menulis:
"As of 4 weeks ago, My Chemical Romance and Bob Bryar parted ways. This was a painful decision for all of us to make and was not taken lightly. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and expect you all to do the same."
 Band ini tidak memberikan alasan yg jelas mengapa Bryar meninggalkan grup band tersebut.

Di tahun 2010,Gerard Way mengumumkan tentang album ke 4 mereka.Di bulan september 2010,MCR merilis album baru mereka,Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabolous Killjoys.
